He says, the key to success lies in the following steps:
1. First, you must learn it by reading or listening to others who know how to do it, but most especially by doing.
2. Then do some more. At this point, you’ll start to understand it, but you’ll suck. This stage could take months.
3. Do some more. After a couple of years, you’ll get good at it.

Creative Summit in Skelleftea: First conference in the hometown of North Kingdom in June 2009.

The most interesting speach was probable the one from "the mill" and their work with "massive". That tools allows crowd simulation, with real characters that tell the story automatically. Very nice. Not to forget their iPhone app "Mill Colour", they have created for photo grading.

Also very entertaining was the speach of "Zentropa", the danish film production of Lars von Trier. Their approach: "Enjoy your work and have fun. Nobody likes a whiner. Just try your best and have fun."

United states postal service figured out a way to add value to their site, by integrating an augmented reality function. On prioritymail.com the user can actually feel the different sizes of available packets. I like, that augmented reality in this case, is not just used for the fun of it (doesn't end in itself), but actually makes sense. Although the idea is good, the execution could be better.

"Bing" is out, the new search engine by Microsoft.
At first glance: looks nice & clean.
At second glance: it has some usability problems & the search results are not always convincing.
I don't really want to go into detail, but what I really find distracting is the inconsequent navigation on the site. Looks like google knows best.
